Our client, a boutique developer, required interior design to one of their first properties. We immediately connected to the developer’s brand ethos, to redefine the word developer by truly understanding and minimising the impact developments have on the local community and wider environment. In turn, the client resonated with our restoration vision, which equally captivated the luxury market, reflected the brand and set it apart as a project.
We learned about the client and spent time in the existing apartment, which was graced with many period features that we wanted to maintain and restore, including a beautiful fireplace. The original space layout did not reflect the high net worth end client expectations or lifestyle, so we worked tirelessly to open-up the environment and seamlessly connect the dining, living and kitchen area. We also introduced a true master suite with a separate dressing and master bathroom. Once planning was agreed, we worked closely with the developer to develop an original design narrative, a calm and light space; an equally inviting, relaxing and comfortable family home. We also assisted the developer and selected artwork that compliments the new space and communicates emotionally to the developer.
At Rive Gauche, it is important that each client can own their bespoke project and connect with it on a sensory level. As interior designers, we bring our deep knowledge of luxury real estate, our understanding of high net worth individual and our creative sensibility however it important for us that as we come closer to completion, our client emotionally take ownership of the design.
