Our client recently purchased a 2-bedroom property in central London and approached Rive Gauche to help transform it into a new family home. Extensive works were required, including a roof extension to convert it into a 4-bedroom home, however, our client was unable to seek an architect willing to assist on the project within budget.
We knew from the outset that the budget was tight and that the client didn’t want to compromise on quality. Instead of commencing the project at design stage and determining the construction costs later, we listened to the client and produced a refined, detailed outline of works and cost plan. Based on this budget, we produced a set of tender documents, including plans, elevations, work schedule and NBS specifications. From our vast network, we worked hard to identify a suitable contractor with the ability to offer the highest quality service within budget, but also provide all the guarantees required by the client. Each contractor was benchmarked against competitors and we visited various projects on-site to assess all-round quality and attention to detail. This enabled us to secure an excellent contractor and we are currently working on-site.
